Olympic Swimmer Duncan Scott helps Scottish Water make a splash with PR photography
Launch of Learn to Swim programme in East Lothian makes for perfect pictures
IT’S NOT every day an Olympic swimming hero turns up at a local pool in Scotland.
But that’s exactly what happened when double silver medallist Duncan Scott put in an appearance at North Berwick Sports Centre, which is operated by enjoyleisure in East Lothian.
Duncan, 20, is the ambassador for Scottish Swimming’s innovative Learn to Swim programme, which is supported by Scottish Water and which was launched at the east lothian pool
Renowned photographer Rob McDougall was on hand to capture these images of local pupils from nearby Law Primary School and members of the East Lothian Swim Team getting some top tips from their swimming idol.
Scottish Water provides the people of Scotland with enough drinking water every day to fill 540 Olympic sized swimming pools. It also safeguards the quality of water in lochs, river and along the coast, all places where people love to swim. So, the national utility giant is proud to be partnering with Scottish Swimming on the Learn to Swim programme for three years.
