Humans of the Walk exhibition portrays the benefits of everyday walking
Scotland’s walking charity, Paths for All, has a clear mission to get Scotland walking: everyone, every day, everywhere.
The health benefits of increasing our physical activity are clear – and yet encouraging people to get outside and get walking isn’t quite so straightforward.
So, we organised the outdoor portrait photography exhibition, Humans of the Walk, featuring people from across the country out on their walks and telling their inspiring stories.
We worked with a talented, eight-strong group of female photographers from Edinburgh College of Art, CollectiveF8, to obtain pictures of members of the public out and about.
Humans of the Walk aims to showcase how everyday walking can benefit the physical, mental and social health of the nation.
