Scotland’s renowned House Doctor gets a taste of some powerful property PR medicine

A FLAGGING property has been given a full medical by Scotland’s premier House Doctor.

Hunters-psm, the leading Edinburgh solicitor-estate agent, called in expert Jo Whitson to transform a family home which had languished on the market for six months. These pictures show the property before Jo’s makeover.

Jo – who was the first Scot trained by TV’s renowned House Doctor Ann Maurice – spent £7000 to turn the dowdy family home into a modern, luxurious and spacious property.

The owners and estate agents were stunned at the sophisticated new look given to the four bedroomed property at 60 Corstorphine Park Gardens which went on the market in January 2004 at offers over £295,000.

Television’s DIY and makeover programmes are a key driving force behind the capital’s thriving property market as they illustrate the importance of making a home more appealing in order to obtain the highest asking price.
