Renowned jeweller and gemmologist Alistir Tait, agreed to auction a set of dazzling gemstones donated by expert gem cutters from all over the UK. The stones were each lovingly hand cut by members of the United Kingdom Facet Cutters Guild. They were then displayed at Alistir Wood Antique and Fine Jewellery in Rose Street, Edinburgh, and auctioned to raise cash for Children in Need.
