SOME of the country’s top card sharps were in Glasgow in May 2006 to celebrate the opening of Scotland’s first ever dedicated poker club. The Cincinnati Club, on Glasgow’s Bridge Street, hosted the $50,000 Littlewoodspoker.com Home Nation Challenge which will be the biggest ever pot and the first event of its kind to be played for in Scotland. The tournament, which will involve some of the top players in the world including club owner Dave Colclough and Scotland’s first ever sponsored poker professional Tony Chessa.
