Hawick rugby club will receive a £10,000 donation from Banks Renewables, which is the process of submitting a scoping report for a wind farm Birneyknowe in the Scottish Borders.
The cash from the renewables company will help renovate the club’s dated changing rooms.
Hawick Rugby Football Club is one of the most successful sporting teams in the local area, dating back as far as 1872 and is a pivotal part of the local community.
