Bake Off Star Pulls off a Showstopper at Luxury Edinburgh Development

A group of select guests were treated to an interactive lesson on mastering a Bake Off worthy dish as finalist of last year’s show, Ruby Bhogal, put one of the kitchens at CALA Homes‘ most upmarket development to the test.

Amusing a crowd of key influencers, members of the media and current residents with anecdotes from her time on the show – as well as her own experiences as a trained architect – Ruby whipped up her signature lemon and ginger meringue pie as guests snapped pictures in one of The Crescent‘s luxury show apartments.

After tucking into the finished result, guests were invited to look round the two show apartments and chat with the team from Richard Murphy Architects about the process involved with creating the luxury development in the heart of Edinburgh’s West End.

“It was lovely to bake in the stunning surroundings of The Crescent. You can tell there’s a real sense of community here already.”

Just a mile west of Princes Street, The Crescent comprises some of Edinburgh’s most sought-after new residences.

The range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, duplexes and penthouses available in the 18-acre estate at The Crescent offer buyers an idyllic rural escape whilst still being in the heart of the capital.
