PR Photography Shows Winners of PR Campaign
In a joint effort, Banks Group and Hamilton BID have utilised the expert public relations provided by Edinburgh PR agency, Holyrood PR to deliver a hugely successful PR campaign. The campaign focused on a local initiative, by Hamilton BID, called Ready Steady, Gallop. The project, aimed at encouraging commerce in the Hamilton town centre, invited local artists to create designs onto twenty-five life-size fibreglass clydesdale horses. The horses were then scattered around the town and asked the public to take part in a well-planned social media campaign. The horses were auctioned of to local businesses for worthwhile charities in October.
As a company who has been based in Hamilton for decades, Banks Group offered £20,000 for two horses to be replicated and stay in Hamilton. The Holyrood PR reached out to local newspaper, the Hamilton Advertiser, to produce a competition inviting the public to vote for their two favourite horses.
Below is a picture set of the two winning horses, Cameron – the red-jacketed and gold-buttoned Clydesdale- and Horsepower – who has a cross-section of cogs and mechanical parts.
