Clyde Murno were delighted to acquire long-established practice, F J Murphy Dental Clinic as part of an investment programme and experts from a PR agency in Edinburgh were there to tell the story with the help of some high quality PR photography.

The thriving family dental practice established in 1964 has become the latest to be acquired by Scotland’s largest dental group – which saw off more than 30 other suitors to secure the deal.

F J Murphy Dental Clinic in Bishopbriggs has had just two principal dentists – Frazer Murphy and his father before him, Jack Murphy – and is the longest-running practice in the Glasgow suburb, developing a stellar reputation serving many generations of patients.

Now it has joined the Clyde Munro Dental Group, as part of an investment programme that has taken the Glasgow based group to 46 practices and more than 400,000 patients.

To ensure a smooth transition Frazer will be staying on as an associate, focusing on clinical care while the buyout has secured the future of the seven-strong team.

Our health PR experts helped capture images to gave the audience a visual of what the dentist practice looks like, as well as putting a face to the local name to grab the readers attention.

The release went out to local press, which allowed audiences to understand that although their local Dentist has been taken over, the name and identity of the practice will remain. 

The Glasgow-based group continues to grow but is dedicated in reflecting the personality and character of its practices in their local community.
