WILLIE McAvoy an owner at Bield‘s Strathearn Court sheltered housing development in Crieff has conquered another challenge by reaching 100 this Christmas Eve.
Born in 1916, in Clydebank, Willie attributes his longevity to staying active and the great Scottish outdoors. On the year of his retiral at the age of 80 he bagged the UK’s second biggest peak – Ben MacDui.
Since moving to Strathearn Court 15 years ago, Mr McAvoy has become an integral part of the community so spent the day with family and friends at Bield’s Strathearn Court.
Our Photography PR team went along to grab some pictures of the active centenarian.
