HOTEL PR CELEBRATES THE LAUNCH OF TIGERLILY’S ROMANTIC WEEKEND PACKAGE
LOVE is in the air at Tigerlily with the launch of a new weekend package that’s guaranteed to rev up the romance in any relationship.
The Love Tigerlily Weekend Package gives couples the chance to share two decadent, indulgent-filled days and nights at Edinburgh’s newest venue for stylish drinking, eating and sleeping.
Champagne, chocolates and breakfast in bed all play their part in ensuring a weekend to remember – with the option of never having to leave your room for the entire stay.
David Hall, General Manager at Tigerlily, said the package has been tailored with love very much on the mind.
He said: “Tigerlily is already the number one choice for couples from across the UK and Europe looking to come to Edinburgh for a romantic break. Our award-winning rooms and standards of service have also made us a firm favourite with honeymooning couples.
So with romance being high on the list of reasons for people wanting to visit Tigerlily, we decided to put together a special package that will ensure love is definitely in the air.
The Tigerlily Love Weekend Package is perfect for anyone who wants to show their partner how much they care – or for couples who want to rekindle a romance or for those already very much in love who just need an excuse not to leave a bedroom for two days!”
The Love Tigerlily Weekend Package features:
• Two nights in an individually styled bedroom
• Chilled Veuve Clicquot Champagne on your arrival
• A sinful platter of hand made Belgium chocolates to accompany your Champagne
• Exclusive VIP access to Lulu, our subterranean late night bar and club
• Breakfast in bed on both mornings
• 2pm late checkout for a lazy morning under the duvet
Tigerlily opened at the end of June and has already won a legion of admirers for its successful blend of understated Georgian opulence with contemporary coolness.
Tigerlily’s two exquisite Georgian suites, seven mini suites and 24 luxury double bedrooms are all individually styled with an explosion of colour, fabrics and textures to offer sumptuous comfort within luxurious, serene surroundings.
Solid smoked oak flooring blends with the hand-made bedroom furniture. The suites – overlooking George Street, at the heart of Edinburgh’s vibrant city centre – retain original Georgian features to compliment the bespoke furniture, which are fused with modern additions such as contemporary four-poster beds and sleek European-style bathrooms.
Lambswool bedside rugs, sultry mood lighting and remotely operated natural gas fires all help create a calming bedtime environment while modern day toys and gadgets are also close at hand with plasma televisions, video spas, iPods, and PSP’s.
Tigerlily – located over five-floors in a restored Grade-A Listed townhouse – also features two chic bars, a 200 cover restaurant as well as its glamorous subterranean club Lulu.
Tigerlily has picked up a string of awards in recent weeks including best new bar in The List Readers’ Poll, Best New Design in the UK Bar Awards, finalist in the bedroom/bathroom interiors categories of the European Hotel Design Awards as well as reaching the best hotel shortlist of Scottish Style Awards.
The venue has also been nominated in five categories in the Scottish Hotel of the Year Awards, including the top accolade of Hotel of the Year.
Meanwhile, Lulu has also won acclaim after being named by Sunday Times Style Magazine as one of the UK’s best three new boutique nightclubs.
Tigerlily is the seventh addition to the portfolio of six cutting-edge style bars and restaurants in the city operated by the Montpeliers (Edinburgh) group.
* The Love Tigerlily Weekend Package costs, per room:
Luxury double £350
Mini suite £450
