Ensure your story graduates into the media by letting our Edinburgh PR agency do the honours
A PLUS. Five star. Passing with flying colours.
Whatever you do in business, when you achieve the highest standards in your field, it is something worth shouting about.
Praise comes in many forms, including rave customer reviews, awards and accolades or recognition for professional standards.
Those are all worth making a noise about to let your staff know you value their contribution; to attract the best talent in your sector; to remind existing customers what makes you so good – and to catch the eye of potential new customers and investors.
Yet a badge on your website, a certificate on the office wall and a mention in your annual report won’t reach too many people.
That’s where our Scottish public relations agency, Holyrood PR in Edinburgh can help. We are honours graduates when it comes to sharing client success stories with huge audiences.
Earning top marks in the media
Recently our client, Blackwood achieved back to back five star reviews for five of its care and housing developments. Each development was highly commended by the Care Inspectorate for the care and support provided to residents.
We helped Blackwood to celebrate those top tier grades as widely as possible – getting the organisation’s name in front of families who are using or choosing care and housing services, as well as influencers who commission care services.
To deliver a first class PR results we started by drafting bespoke media releases tailored for each of the five developments. Those were then carefully targeted at interested journalists working with the local media serving each area where each of the five developments were located.
That strategy proved to be a grade A success – resulting in positive media coverage in the Glasgow Evening Times, Edinburgh Evening News, Stirling Observer, Dundee’s Evening Telegraph and the Ayrshire Post.
However, we went further and also made sure to target specialist care media, in order to let everyone know how well Blackwood “made the grade” with the recognised care regulator.
Key care coverage was secured in influential titles including Care Industry News, The Carer, Disabled and Supportive Carer, Sy Care Support and Care and Nursing Essentials.
Years of preparation go into every success
Blackwood’s stellar results are no surprise. It has worked for years to deliver the highest standards with a commitment to constant improvement.
There’s simply no substitute for hard work. As any student knows, the key to top grades is revision, revision, revision. Or put another way, practice makes perfect.
We take a similar view about the media successes delivered by our Scottish public relations agency. There is no luck involved in those successes. As legendary golfer Arnold Palmer put it: “The harder I practice, the luckier I get!”
