Rigatoni’s at the King’s is a hit in Scottish media thanks to expert PR team in Edinburgh
THE talented couple, who became the King and Queen of Edinburgh’s Italian dining scene after opening a second £100,000 restaurant in the city have cooked up a storm in the media.
Stefano and Maria Molfino’s new venture is Rigatoni’s at the King’s, a sleek glass and marble eatery just yards from the King’s Theatre in Tollcross.
With help from the expert public relations team at Holyrood PR in Edinburgh, the news of Stefano and Maria’s latest authentic Italian restaurant attracted media attention from across Scotland.
At the time of writing, the coverage stretches to 15 significant items of coverage, creating a whopping 2,218,406 opportunities to see it also massively raised awareness of the opening with potential new customers.
The story then went on to receive a great feature in Scotland on Sunday creating a further 28,500 opportunities to see – as well as being featured in the Marketing Edinburgh Newsletter which is eagerly read by its army of subscribers, who are among the city’s top influencers.
Coupled with further coverage on the List Newsletter, Incentivetravel.co.uk and the Edinburgh Reporter the objective set by Rigatoni’s by the King’s to raise the profile of the newly launched business was well and truly met.
Holyrood PR also set up a review with leading lifestyle magazine Scottish Field which will be featured later on in Month.
By making ripples across local, food and drink and Scottish press, our award-winning PR team ensured the Rigatoni’s name was placed in front of their target audience.
Rigatoni’s by the King’s is open Tuesday to Sunday with a three course meal and wine being available for around £30 a head in the evening, and exclusive lunch and pre-theatre menu deals.
The opening follows on from the success of the couple’s existing trattoria, the original Rigatoni’s in the city’s south side, opposite the Queen’s Hall.
The business is a true family affair with Stefano and wife Maria, who have been married for 26 years, taking charge of Rigatoni’s at the King’s, while their children Adriano, Valentino and Cinzia are taking over the running of the south side pizzeria.
