£6million hotel expansion proves to be a PR Scotland hit with major coverage.
A popular Glasgow daily The Evening Times, has featured an article on a Sauchiehall Street hotel expansion that promises to make the area the perfect place to work, rest and play.
The WGY group founded by Victoria nightclub owner Wayne Gardener Young, won planning permission for the 75 room hotel this month and are delighted to be able to get work under way.
The hotel will have a nautical theme to reflect the city’s maritime heritage and Gardener Young and his partner Volker Steinmann hope that the hotel will share the same success as the iconic nightclub which is also housed on the same street.
The hotel is set to open June 2011.
The full article can be read on The Evening Times website and was secured as part of a successful PR campaign carried out by the Holyrood PR.
