Media coverage puts city centre hotel in the picture

GUESTS at STAY Central, a trendy Edinburgh hotel, have been snapping up the chance to make their stay ‘picture perfect’ by posing in front of a newly installed selfie mirror.

STAY Central hotel installed the full-size mirror in its main lift, allowing guests to tap into the latest internet craze by encouraging them to take a ‘selfie’ to upload onto their various social media accounts.

Hundreds of visitors have already grabbed the opportunity to be snap happy in all sorts of poses in the lift, all the pictures so far have created a buzz for staff and guests.

We shared the news with the press and managed to secure a host of coverage, with highlights including: 

• A full page in Edinburgh Now, a free supplement with leading national title, the Daily Record 
• An article in the city’s most-read paper, Edinburgh Evening News 
• A share on the Facebook page of top industry title, Hotel News Scotland
