Inchmarlo Gardens PR ScotlandThe Press and Journal has highlighted an innovative project to bring a bit of colour to the lives of residents of the Inchmarlo Continuing Care Retirement Community, in picturesque Royal Deeside.

The article by the prestigious broadsheet details how the £5000 development, introduced by Professor Charles Skene, chairman of the Skene Group which owns the estate, will allow the historic Inchmarlo gardens to be seen in colour all year round.

The project, which has introduced over 1000 new plants to the garden, was designed by award-winning West Lothian gardener Billy Carruthers.

The gardens are open to the public every year under Scotland’s Gardens Scheme with 60 per cent of all revenue being donated to Alzheimer’s Scotland.
