Pamela McDadePublic relations consultancy Holyrood PR has appointed PR professional Pamela McDade as account director, enhancing both her career as well as the company’s credentials.

Leading on a number of high profile accounts across a variety of industry sectors, Pamela will apply the skills she has gained from five years’ PR consultancy experience working with a number of big name global brands.

Pamela says:  “I am excited about my new role at Holyrood and feel that with my PR background and their journalistic know-how, we will have a winning formula.”

Directors Scott Douglas and Raymond Notarangelo first met Pamela at an industry award ceremony in 2008, where they impressed her with their straight talking attitude.  So when the duo finally made their approach with a job offer, she ‘jumped’ at the chance to work with them.

Pamela adds:  “I’m currently training for a half marathon, which is sure to stand me in good stead with Holyrood, as you quite literally have to hit the ground running in this line of work.  And as the team has already set the pace, I really need to be fit and ready to go.”

Since its inception in 2002, the directors have strived to offer both outstanding media relations expertise coupled with up-to-the-minute digital PR know how, an approach which has saw them attract key staff like Pamela from large consultancies.

As account director based at Holyrood’s office in Edinburgh, Pamela has an overview of the company’s existing client base, and will play a significant role in progressing the agency’s new business strategy.

Scott Douglas says: “We’re delighted to have Pamela on board as this is an interesting time for the company.  We’ve recently welcomed a number of significant account wins and feel that she will make an excellent addition to our team.”

This month Holyrood PR added new Edinburgh wine bar Divino to its client list, and similar success is expected to quickly follow owing to the company’s excellent reputation and the team’s outstanding PR credentials.
