This week, we’ve been getting into the festive spirit, toasting an award nomination and discovering a new, locally-pioneered technology.
Once the battle between Marks and Spencers and John Lewis started for ‘most emotional video’, we knew Christmas was on its way. Now, that’s been confirmed by The Corinthian Club’s festive offerings hitting national headlines.
The Glasgow-based destination venue was featured by The Herald as the firm’s in-house events team noted a record-breaking numbers of festive booking, meaning the beloved Christmas party is back with a bang.
And From Christmas parties to champagne toasts, the team behind the cuisine at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is celebrating following a UK-wide award nomination for head chef, Ben Harrison.
Ben, who works for fine dining and hospitality specialists Sodexo Prestige at the garden, is renowned for using fresh fruit and vegetables grown on site in his creations. Now, his work has seen him shortlisted for an award recognising the UK’s top contract caterers.
Finally, Edinburgh-based XI Engineering, who specialise in vibration technology has enjoyed a wave of coverage this week. News of the firm’s expert technology was featured in Scotland on Sunday, Metro and The Press & Journal allowing for excellent media exposure.
