Holyrood PR TV Episode 89

It’s been a rather glamorous week for Holyrood PR with a dazzling display of coverage for our client The Corinthian Club, the launch party of a new bar in an iconic Edinburgh hotel and even a mention of our very own Laura Berry in The Scotsman Business Section.

First up, they say diamonds are a girl’s best friend and they certainly have been for our client The Corinthian Club this week as Sheenashona Jewellery launched their diamond jewellery store in their opulent surroundings last week. The Scottish sisters and businesswomen, Shona Bain and Sheena Jack ,set up shop in the Boutique Bar, at The Corinthian Club in central Glasgow where shoppers on the city’s famous ‘style mile’ can now browse the collection and try on the stunning jewels at their leisure as they sip on champagne or cocktails from the fully serviced in-store bar.

Edinburgh also saw the launch of a new venue this week with the opening of the Bothy Bar at the Murrayfield House Hotel on Costorphine Road. The hotel has recently seen the second phase of a complete transformation created by acclaimed designer Jim Hamilton who is renowned for his quirky touches. The bar held a special launch night specifically for local people and businesses last week, where guests were given exclusive locals cards entitling them to a host of benefits.

And finally, it’s a very sad week for everyone at Holyrood PR as we say a final farewell to our fantastic account manager Laura Berry. Laura joined Holyrood PR as a fresh faced young graduate in 2010 and just a year later had been named Young Communicator of the year at the CIPR Scotland Pride Awards. In a fitting tribute The Scotsman business section picked up on the story of her moving back to her Scouse roots as she joins the Big Partnership in Liverpool and we wish her the best of luck in her new job.
