Holyrood PR TV Episode 81

In this week’s episode we talk about photocalls, cracking down on cyber criminals, exhibitions for a community wind farm and an Indian take-away with a twist.

First up is the Scottish Business Resilience Centre who teamed up with IT giants Sophos and Police Scotland to warbike across Edinburgh, scanning for unsecure wifi networks. Flagged by 2 police cyclists, James Lyne has hit the capital on his bike tracking open networks onto a portable computer used to see where hackers can attack and steal vital information.

Then it’s onto renewable energy news with exhibitions for a proposed wind farm in Dumfries and Galloway which will reveal plans for a unique community partnership. Banks Renewables, will hold the exhibitions as part of its plans for its proposed Knockendurrick Wind Farm, detailing the partnership which could secure up to £6.5million for the local community over the life time of the site.

And finally to an award winning Indian restaurant who have been turning up the heat during this year’s Edinburgh Festival. Khushi’s have decided to take its spicy tikka wraps and exotic curry dishes to the streets in a specially commissioned trailer called Khushi’s On The Move.
