Award Winning PR in this Ryder Cup Inspired Episode

Uncategorized

The arrival of the Ryder Cup in Gleneagles last week saw Scotland receive a wave of media attention, but here at Holyrood PR, our clients continued to shine and gain a wealth of media coverage.

Our client, Banks Renewables, has had a very exciting week after the Scottish Government approved plans for the Middle Muir Wind Farm in South Lanarkshire.  The wind turbines are set to be up to 152m tall and capable of generating large amounts of pure, clean energy.

Account Executive Heather Peebles led the PR campaign which was picked up by BBC OnlineThe Herald and The Scotsman, among others.  A huge success for Banks Renewables and for our agency.

The Ryder Cup came at a perfect time for our client CALA Homes; just as they are set to launch their newest development in Perthshire, St Mary’s Garden.  The development is made up of 19 properties and is due to launch this November, with four and five bedroom homes available.

With the spotlight firmly on Perth, CALA Homes gained fantastic media coverage in The Herald and The Scotsman.

Finally, Bield Housing and Care are looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to help out at their housing development in Corstorphine.

The volunteers only need to give up a small amount of time and will be asked to help out in a range of social activities including regular coffee mornings.  Our own Junior Account Executive, Vickie Henry, has been working with Bield to gain a range of media coverage for their plea.

The call for volunteers has already been picked up by the Scottish Federation of Housing Association NewsCare Industry News and Housing News.
