Holyrood PR TV Episode 115

This week at Holyrood PR, we’ve been busy telling stories about a special delivery by one of our clients, why one Welsh golfer is excited to visit East Lothian and how a property is offering house hunters the chance to become their very own monarch of the Glen.

First up, a delighted golf fan recorded his most memorable drive to get his hands on one of the golfing world’s most prestigious trophies. Despite the fact Eagle Courier driver Paul Wilkie can barely strike a ball on the course, he clocked up a 400 mile drive to deliver the Solheim Cup in front of a delighted audience. We told the story of how Paul delivered the trophy in his van making headlines in the Daily Record’s Edinburgh Now and the Edinburgh Evening News.

Next, from golf dreamer to budding golf pro, Ffion Tynan from South Wales is preparing to retain her European crown after winning the Murray Donald and Caithness NETT Cup at Strathmore Golf Club in Blairgowrie.
The remarkable 11-year-old, who has been tipped for the top, is hoping the cup win will serve to boost her hopes of retaining the U.S. Kids Golf European Championships title held at Gullane, Craigielaw, Luffness, New and Longniddry at the end of May. The rising star graced East Lothian’s greens last year where she was named the U.S. Kids Golf European girls champion for her age category. We told the story to top golf publications gaining some great coverage in Golfer Mag.

And finally, we told the story about an impressive farmhouse that is offering those craving the joys of an idyllic rural life the chance to be their very own monarch of a Perthshire glen. Frenchton Farmhouse enjoys beautiful settings near to the River Almost- yet is still close to Perth and is on the market with Bell Ingram for offers in the region of £590,000.

Perfectly positioned between the small hamlet of Harrietfield and the Glenalmond Estate, Frenchton Farmhouse dates back to the mid 1800’s and boasts bright, south facing views and immaculately presented modern interiors. News of our story featured in national Sunday newspaper, the Sunday Times and the Daily Express’ property section.
