PR Success for Bell Ingram

A JAM packed month of exciting news ensured February was choc-ful of PR successes for our client Bell Ingram with some prime print and online coverage helping to spread the word of its high quality services.

The first story was the announcement that Bell Ingram was hosting a series of Winter Seminars to share its expert knowledge on the ever changing landscape of farming and land ownership.

The seminars also covered discussions on subsidy reform and Brexit with a view to providing farmers and land owners on advice on improving core farming strategies and investment.

We shared the story far and wide and gained impressive print and online media coverage.

Some of the highlights include:

  • Online hits on thescottishfarmer.co.uk and inverurieherald.co.uk
  • Prime print coverage in The Ellon Times

Next up was a story about Catherine Smith, Land Agent at Bell Ingram, and her speech at the Oxford Farming Conference in which she urged younger farmers to see the bigger picture and make use of all opportunities within the agricultural sector.

We shared the story, reaching 34,158 people.

Some of the highlights include:

  • Print coverage in Farming Life Belfast’s newsletter and the Arbroath Herald
  • Online hits on key titles such as farminguk.com, farminglife.co.uk and scottishfield.co.uk

Another February success – this time for Bell Ingram’s property team – was our work to highlight the sale of Kirk o’ The Muir, a former manse which proved to be a hit with the media. The story showed property’s full potential and emphasised the perfect opportunity for house-hunters looking to restore a listed building in natural Scottish landscape.

Some of the highlights include:

  • National coverage in The Times, The Scotsman and The Courier
  • Coverage in industry targeted publication, Scottish Field
  • Online hits on thescotsman.com and thecourier.co.uk
  • The story had a reach of more than 78,500

Last but definitely not least, the story of the sale of Easter Achnahanat, a picture perfect cottage in Sutherland and its beautiful surroundings, gained wide media coverage, reaching over a quarter of a million readers.

The highlights include:

  • The story had a reach of 729,740
  • Print coverage in The Press and Journal, The Scotsman and The Sunday Mail
  • Online coverage in the The Scotsman

With all this great coverage, and other stories throughout the month of February, we gained a total reach of 3,219,246.

Having Bell Ingram recognised across so many important publications was especially important as it helps spread the word of its expert team, which stretches across Scotland.

Seeing success spread in national, local, industry-targeted and online media publications not only encourages customers, but also helps show Bell Ingram as one of the UK’s leading firms of independent land and estate agents.
