Award Winning Public Relations Success at CIPR Scotland PR Awards for Holyrood PR
SUCCESS breeds success and Holyrood PR proved that point by striking gold for a fourth consecutive year at Scotland’s PR equivalent of the Oscars.
The CIPR Scotland PRide Awards are our industry’s celebration of the best of PR from practitioners around the country, so we were delighted to be nominated for seven in 2016.
We were even more chuffed to leave with two Golds and three Silvers under our belts, adding to an impressive haul of trophies in recent years.
At a glittering ceremony we collected Golds for Best Business and Corporate Communications and Best Low Budget Campaign for our work with the Scottish Business Resilience Centre (SBRC). We were also awarded Silver awards for our work with Bupa Care Homes and with the Scottish Schools Pipe and Drum Trust – as well as in the Oustanding Small Public Relations Consultancy. To round off our night, our Account Manager Chris Fairbairn was commended in the Outstanding Young Communicator category.
In fact, we have now won Gold and Silver PR Awards in a host of important business categories, including:
- Outstanding Small PR Agency
- Best Corporate and Business Communications
- Best Community Relations Campaign
- Best Use of Media Relations
- Best Consumer Relations
- Best Use of Planning, Research, Measurement and Evaluation
- Best use of Photography and Design
- Best use of Social Media
- Best Sporting Campaign
- Best Low Budget Campaign
- Outstanding Young Communicator
Our success has been linked with businesses and organisations as diverse as restaurants, wind farms, care homes, golf tournaments and many, many more. Those businesses have seen for themselves how successful PR campaigns help boost their bottom line, while also helping to build happier and more productive workplaces.

We ensured plenty of media coverage for the Scottish Schools Pipe and Drum Trust with its ‘Bagpipe Amnesty’. A campaign meant to boost donations of bagpipes and interest young people in piping. This brought in a Silver Award.
Check out the photos from the night, which saw us collect Golds for Best Business and Corporate Communications and Best Low Budget Campaign. Other highlights included a commendation for our Account Manager Chris Fairbairn in the Outstanding Young Communicator category.
