Media Relations in The Herald Road disruption helps courier firm achieve flim star worthy PR Scotland with headlines in daily newspaper.

Eagle Couriers based in West Lothian appeared in article in The Herald after expressing their concerns over road closures as a result of Hollywood filming.

In Septmeber the streets of Glasgow were turned into a film set in order to accomodate Halle Berry’s new movie Cloud Atlas, meaning that many road and routes were blocked off for several days causing problems for drivers such as Jerry team of couriers, who use the route daily.

The filming came just weeks after Glasgow’s roads were thrown into chaos during a shoot starring fellow A-lister Brad Pitt and his movie World War Z.

While boss Jerry Stewart notes that the filming does provide economic benefits for the area and raise Glasgow’s profile as the perfect location for large scale film shoots, he is concerned at the disruption that filming like this can cause to local businesses who rely on the roads.

Holyrood PR scored the coverage in The Herald which you can view here as part of a sustained PR and social media campaign carried out on behalf of Eagle Couriers.
