Edinburgh family law firm Gibson Kerr has been featured in the Herald & Post newspaper after giving new advice for elderly people in the Capital.
The firm was quoted extensively in a double-page article in the newspaper, which explained how elderly people in the Capital should review their legal options before the go into full time care.
Gibson Kerr partner Scott Rasmusen told the Herald & Post that people needed to ensure they had made all of the necessary legal decisions to ensure their affairs would be protected when they go into elderly care. He added that the main legal issues to consider are Power of Attorney agreements, up-to-date wills and executries.
The full article can be viewed on the Herald & Post website and was the result of a sustained PR in Scotland campaign by the Holyrood PR.
