Hell Mail Headlines Bring New Scottish PR Success to Eagle Couriers

Eagle Couriers coverage in Hell Mail highlighted by Holyrood PR PR in ScotlandStaff at Eagle Couriers have been celebrating after scoring another major PR success thanks to new coverage in postal news website Hell Mail.

The website, which collates and publishes news from the UK’s postal and courier industries, ran a story about how the firm had helped provide a special heat treatment service on a delivery to the United States – which had ensured the package passed U.S. customs.

Under American customs law, all wooden crates and boxes being shipped into the U.S. have to be rigorously heat treated to ISPM15 standard. If they have not been suitably treated, they are sent back to the senders – meaning that sensitive deliveries do not reach their intended recipients in time.

However, couriers at the firm realised in time that the wooden box due to be sent to California had not been properly treated and tested, and were able to arrange for it to be re-packed in a new, officially heat-treated box to ensure that it was allowed through U.S. customs.

The full coverage appeared in Hell Mail and was the result of a proactive media strategy by Scottish PR experts the Holyrood PR.
