Health PR team helps Glencoe Dental Centre achieve gleaming headlines after sharing its environmentally friendly makeover

Clyde Munro, founded by Jim Hall in 2015 started with seven practices. Since then, it has grown rapidly with 53 practices across Scotland, with more than 430,000 patients and 400 staff.

Glencoe dental practice, which is part of Clyde Munro Dental Group, is one of six ‘eco-champion’ practices around the country.

The practice has significantly adapted its working practices to become more eco-friendly, including a huge focus on environmentally friendly materials and recycling initiatives, including recycling ink cartridges and dental care products. 

An electric car has also been bought by the practice to encourage eco-friendly travel amongst staff between the Glencoe practice and its neighbouring practice in Fort William, M&S dental care.

Clyde Munro have begun to implement environmentally friendly changes throughout the 53 practices and have multiple programmes underway.

To convey this eco change and draw attention to the release, the health PR team arranged photography to ensure high quality images were used, to accompany the release.

The team arranged interviews with individuals involved in the initiative such as associate dentist, Christoff Du Plessis. The interview gained an insight into how the changes had been implemented throughout the practice since being awarded as an eco-champion.
