Eagle Couriers in Daily MailDelivery expert Eagle Couriers hasearned valuable coverage in the Daily Mail – after stepping in to make a very special delivery.

The firm, which has bases in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Bathgate and employs more than 100 people, offered to collect a lost cat when it was found – 480 miles from home.

Fiona Deas, the animal-loving director of Eagle Couriers, who also owns Noah’s Ark pet shop in Edinburgh, was astounded when she learnt of the incredible journey made by Sampson the tabby.

The cat vanished from a family’s home in Penicuik, Midlothian 18 months ago. This week it was found be a vet in Plymouth, Devon, who was able to identify it by the microchip inserted under its skin.

Eagle Couriers immediately offered to bring the cat home – free of charge and the story appeared in the Scottish Daily Mail.

Eagle Couriers enjoys a healthy media profile, thanks to the support of public relations experts with Scottish PR agency Holyrood Partnership
