The Guns on Pegs website featured news that Bell Ingram Sporting Lets division has generously sponsored the latest Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust (GTW) calendar which features a fine bevy of tweed clad gamekeepers, models and gundogs.

The calendar is the third offering from GWT which provides a helpline, support and financial grants for gamekeepers, ghillies and stalkers and their families in times of hardship, ill health and retirement.

Following on the success on the previous edition which raised £20,000, it is hoped it will be just as popular and for the 3rd edition a proportion of the proceeds will be donated to Hounds for Heroes in aid of Ex-servicemen and women as well as the GWT.

Hounds for Heroes provides specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled men and women of both the UK armed forces and civilian emergency services with the aim of providing help and practical support, leading to an enhanced quality of life for its clients.

Charlotte Gilfillan of Bell Ingram Sporting Lets said: “The calendar is a very creative way to help raise funds for those who need support and I was delighted Bell Ingram Sporting Lets was part of helping make the next edition financially possible in aid of these fantastic charities.”

With the theme Gamekeepers, Girls and Gundogs, the calendar features gamekeepers, attractive girls a range of working dogs, pictured in scenic locations throughout the UK.

Helen Benson of the Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust said: “I have been absolutely delighted with the reception the previous calendars have received and I hope this one can be just as or even more popular.

“This is one of our major fundraising initiatives and as our service becomes extensive we need to ensure we can provide help whenever and wherever it is needed.”

The calendar is now on sale and available on the Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust website at a cost of £10 per calendar plus p & p.

The full coverage can be viewed on the Guns on Pegs website and was secured on behalf of Bell Ingram thanks to an ongoing PR campaign with Holyrood PR
