News Spread Far and Wide with help from Property PR experts
TWO MAJOR planning decisions in one of East Lothian’s most desirable settings have made a splash across local, national and trade media of late.
The decision to approve two CALA Homes developments in Gullane, was destined to create big news in the local area, with vocal and well-mobilised opposition making the case for development elsewhere.
As a result, the local well respected newspaper, the East Lothian Courier ran a front page headline expressing the vocal opposition of some residents, balanced with well considered quotes and facts put forward by the developer.
The Edinburgh Evening News, which runs a Lothian Focus section on a Thursday told of the news – marking a milestone, with very few homes having been built in recent times in the village.
Scotland-wide titles including The Herald and The National featured the story in print and in the news highlighting the need for each part of East Lothian to take its share of the 10,050 homes the region is required to build.
Finally, trade press coverage in Scottish Construction Now and Scottish Housing News took the total tally of articles into double figures – each important to different elements of CALA’s business aims.
