on behalf of Banks Group
A North Lanarkshire property development has been given the green light of approval by the local councils planning committee.
The plan for 1040 news homes in the Glenboig area was first put forward on the 8th of July by Banks Property. The project received 119 letters of support and was backed by many local businesses.
This project is set to have a huge economic impact for North Lanarkshire, increasing jobs and potentially becoming a £200 million investment.
As well as the property development there are plans to extend the local nature reserve and create a link road to the railway station, the Gartcosh Business Park and the M73. These steps are being taken aiming to improve the lives of those who live and work in the local community.
The story created a great deal of media attention while decisions were being made about the development but now the go ahead has been decided, the Glenboig development is creating a media stir.
With the help of Scottish PR agency, Holyrood PR, the news broke to local and national papers while receiving a large amount of coverage online.
Media coverage of the plans have been exposed to a number of reputable publications such as The Herald and The National, both with high circulation figures.
This recent media success comes as part of the ongoing work our Edinburgh PR agency have been doing for the Banks Group.
