The Glasshouse Off The Mile has been reviewed by a top restaurant magazine in the capital.
Bite – the monthly mini guide to eating and drinking in Edinburgh – has featured an article in its magazine detailing a three course meal at the new restaurant.
Located next to boutique hotel Fraser Suites Edinburgh, the St Giles Street venue blends elegant Victorian opulence with stylish contemporary cool. The Glasshouse Off The Mile trades as a seperate business on the ground floor of the 75-room hotel.
Under the heading “Fine food in a fine location” the diner comments not only on the wide range of dishes available, but the interior and setting.
It says: “The ambience is tasteful and a good setting for tasting some fine food…We gave this restaurant the thumbs up and would both return and recommend it.”
Steven ran the award-winning The Glasshouse at Eskmills in Musselburgh for three years until the restaurant closed in early February.
The full coverage can be viewed on the Bite magazine website and was the result of a sustained PR in Scotland campaign by the Holyrood Partnership.
