The Glasshouse off the Mile, which is located next to the new Fraser Suites Edinburgh hotel on St Giles Street, was reported on in Scotland of Food and Drink – a resource for news about the country’s restaurant and bar sector.
The eaterie was opened earlier this year by top Scottish chef Steven Adair, who previously ran the award-winning The Glasshouse at Eskmills in Musselburgh for three years and who gave Edinburgh’s Michelin-star chef Tom Kitchin his first job. The new Glasshouse has been set up as a place where Edinburgh diners can receive contemporary, yet affordable Scottish cuisine using the very best locally sourced ingredients.
