Innovative work by Scotland’s Care Watchdog to protect the very old and the very young from deadly bugs, has been featured by a leading political journal.
The latest issue of Holyrood Magazine carries a substantial interview with renowned bacteriology expert, Professor Hugh Pennington on the Government’s work to tackle hospital superbugs.
As part of its in-depth feature the magazine also carried a report on the Care Commission’s work to tackle infections outside of hosptial settings.
It reported on the appointment of highly experienced infection control specialist Gillian Stevenson as a specialist Nurse Consultant with the watchdog.
