To complement the recent transformation of its interior by renowned hotel designer Jim Hamilton, The Bothy Restaurant and Drinkery at The Murrayfield House Hotel, has launched a brand new drinks menu, designed to tantalise the taste buds of drinks aficionados by combining premium brand alcohol with freshly picked ingredients.

The selection currently includes the gin based Cucumber and Mint Martini, a vodka infused Blueberry and Basil concoction and the indulgent Pear and Rosemary Sparkle, which is topped with a splash of prosecco.

Encapsulating the Bothy’s desire to serve only the freshest homemade produce, the cocktails are an unusual addition to the extensive drinks list and have already proved popular with customers.

General Manager at The Bothy Restaurant and Drinkery, Colin Brand, said: “Edinburgh is renowned for its numerous cocktail bars, so we wanted to do something a bit different in order to stand out from the crowd and give our customers an original experience.

“At The Murrayfield Hotel we strive to use fresh, locally sourced ingredients and what could be fresher than our garden garnishes?

“Feedback we have received so far from both visitors from afar and our regulars has been glowing, which is always fantastic when you are trying something new.

“The popularity of the cocktails has exceeded all of our expectations and we look forward to perhaps adding in new ingredients and flavours in the future.”
