AFTER EVER AFTER (Lewis)

A new video which is destined to be a viral hit after already accumulating over 500,000 views in under 4 days, is this new video from YouTube user ‘Paint’. Entitled, ‘after ever after’ the video looks to show you what really happens in Disney films at the end, claiming that Disney’s endings are lies and false. What’s great about this video is that a lot of time and effort has gone into making several songs that tie in with their original songs, with hits from The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. I’m sure that if this does go very viral he will no doubt be making a sequel to it.

SPOOKY SUBWAY (Sarah)

Twelve skeletons believed to have died from the Black Death plague have been discovered during work on the London crossrail project. Discovered nearly two and a half meters below ground, and lined up neatly in two rows, the bodies are believed to have been buried in 1348 when the plague swept through Britain and Europe. The 14th century burial ground is sure to unleash some spooks on unsuspecting underground travels in the future…

POP OVER – ORGANISE YOUR MOVIE NIGHT (Gerard)

It’s Friday and you’ve got no plans. You’re too skint to go out but you still want to do something fun and relatively cheap. Why not host a movie night? It’s a bit of a hassle but not with the PopOver website. You can organise the theme, choose the film, pick the number of seats available and then connect to Facebook and invite your friends in about 2 minutes. Your friends can bring the popcorn… after all you did the organising.

AT WORK IN HIGHWAYS (Lewis)

A new video has emerged online, which is causing a bit of a storm in Britain, and in particular, Worcestershire area, as their council have just produced a short video, costing £800, about the problems of potholes and highways. Many council tax payers first fears were that their money was funding this video, but the council soon took to YouTube to put those fears to bed, by stating the video was paid for by a contractor. But, apart from this, the video is clever and has changed the lyrics to the Frank Sinatra hit ‘My Way’ to ‘Work in Highways’.
