Historical character plays part in successful hotel PR
A NEW Edinburgh hotel’s opening night has been covered in an evening newspaper with the aid of a historical character.
The Edinburgh Evening News reported upon the official launch of Fraser Suites Edinburgh – the latest venue in the international Frasers Hospitality Chain.
The newspaper told how the hotel just off the Royal Mile was well placed for Princes Street as well as the city’s historic sites, and printed a picture of “Sir Walter Scott”
The picture of an actor playing the famous Scottish author displayed the stunning backdrop of one of the hotel’s rooms.
The prolific writer, most famous for the 1814 historical novel Waverley, appeared to be reading from one of his own novels, while the vista of Edinburgh’s striking Scott monument was visible behind him.
Our hotel PR experts have helped Fraser Suites secure headlines and could help boost your business too.
