The grand opening of the Fraser Suites Edinburgh hotel has been hailed by a national Sunday newspaper.
The Scotland on Sunday covered the launch of the boutique hotel on St Giles Street in its business pages.
The article ran under the headline “Fine place for a hotel” and told how former city council offices had been transformed into luxury accommodation and serviced apartments.
The piece also mentioned how Edinburgh’s Lord Provost George Grubb joked how he had once paid his parking fines in the lobby of the fine building.
The article concluded by saying surviving members of the Clan Fraser had been invited to the grand event but had not been able to attend on the evening. It was reported that they intended to visit one of Frasers Hospitality’s two Scottish luxury venues in future.
