Firm Bringing Equilibrium to Buoyant Offshore Travel Market

EQ Travel Management Press releases

Equilibrium Travel Management (EQ) has revolutionised the Scottish corporate travel market

The company has launched an innovative new specialised marine and offshore service. At their new base in Banffshire, EQ‘s new department will specialise in the movement of offshore personnel and commercial shipping around the world using specially negotiated rates and fares.

By offering services on a transparent, fee-based system, EQ aims to travel the marine and offshore travel sector which commonly uses a ‘fee plus hidden charges’ model.

The company has a wealth of industry experience, created by one of the UK’s top figures in travel management Franc Jeffrey.

Franc said: “We are confident our new marine and offshore service will bring great benefits to businesses in the oil and gas sector and through our extensive experience, we fully understand the unique demands, constraints and conditions that the industry operates under which is key for a provider.”

Formed only a year ago, EQ has benefitted from sustained growth and recently opened a base in Boston, USA, to support clients on both sides of the Atlantic.

Franc went on to say: “Travel remains the third largest expense for most organisations, so it is vital that they get the best value for their money.”

“To do that, we look to work closely with firms to create a working partnership that understands the company’s travel needs and can evolve and react to market demands and changes.”
