New Flavours Get Lipsmacking Results from across the Media – Food and Drink PR

Mackies of Scotland Lemon Flavoured PR Sucess Montage

HOLYROOD PR are of to a quick start with newest food and drink PR client, Mackie’s of Scotland.
As the much-loved makers of Scotland’s Ice Cream, we were especially proud to be named as their new PR partner and excited to get underway.
It is safe to say our first project has whet our appetite for what is to come. Mackie’s of Scotland, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, has launched a limited run of Sicilian Lemon flavour ice cream, with ripples of lemon curd and layered with
meringue pieces.
So we were on hand to tell the story, highlighting the company’s heritage and detailing
the painstaking (but clearly delicious) work that goes on behind the scenes to deliver a new flavour.

Quite fittingly, the inaugural coverage came courtesy of two of Scotland’s most widely read newspapers, the Herald and the National with a combined print circulation of over 60,000.

Running as an eye-catching page lead in the National, the coverage showcased a bright and breezy photoshoot coordinated by us, with images from a professional photoshoot we arranged featuring on both the Herald and the National website.

Elsewhere online, we had a quality feature on Deadline News as well as the excellent
Scotsman Food and Drink – a highly regarded sector specific site linked to the Scotsman.
Further high-impact trade coverage has been achieved on the (entirely seperate) Scotland Food and Drink website, again establishing news of Mackie’s new flavours across the important industry press.

Hot off the press, we’ll be keeping a close eye on further features for this first story – and we’ll be keeping you posted on lots more from the Aberdeenshire firm.
