Great PR For Scottish Travel Management Firm
EQ Travel and Expense Management featured in an article in Nexxus News about managing travel and expenses for clinical trials.
The co-ordination of a clinic trial is complex and involves a great deal of organisation.
Arranging the travel and managing the expenses of the subject can be time consuming and stressful, as its success is crucial to the trial.
Travel management firm Equilibrium Travel Management (EQ) have pioneered a specialised service for clinical trials, which is the first of its kind. They came up with the idea over ten years ago after discussions with a potential client.
Franc Jeffrey, CEO of EQ Travel said: “We actually met to talk about their corporate travel but it became evident that they were struggling with travel for their clinical trial subjects.
“Confidentiality rules and regulations stipulated by regulatory bodies such as the FDA, EMA and MHRA meant that the Sponsor could not know any specific patient information. This was making arranging travel extremely awkward. After much thought, I came up with the idea that we could step in between the investigating site and the sponsor.”
The EQ team now have a long history of working with the world’s leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies for clinical studies.
Cost saving firms like EQ can help the client project travel budgets and reduce expenditure through effective planning.
