Excellent PR for Edinburgh’s Telford College.
Edinburgh’s Telford College was featured in today’s Edinburgh Evening News after winning a prestigious award at Scotland’s Colleges Marketing Awards.
The award was for the Event Category, and the college faced competition from Coatbridge College and Dundee College, but in the end they came out on top.
The award was for the Telford Festival, which took place over a six-week period last year. The Festival gave students the chance to showcase the work they had produced over the last year in the form of exhibitions and performances.
Lyndsey Dougan, events and communications coordinator at the college said: “We are delighted to have won the award for best event at Scotland’s Colleges annual marketing awards.”
“It is great to be recognised by the industry for all the hard work that went into the organisation and execution of the Telford Festival by both the staff and the students.”
