Edinburgh’s Telford College has been recognised in the energy sector by being shortlisted for an award for its famous Renewable Energy and Innovation Centre. The Installerlive awards has shortlisted the college along with its partner PPL training ltd for the Training Initiative of the year award.

Alongside its partner PPL training ltd, Edinburgh Telford offers a series of training courses which are designed to teach students traditional construction heritage skills such as roofing with micro generation skills which includes photovoltaic and thermal solar installation.

These are just some of the many skills on offer at their West Granton campus and are an exclusive centre within Scotland that mix the unique training of both traditional construction heritage skills and renewable energy skills.

Mike Dibsdall OBE, Edinburgh Telford Colleges principal said “We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award and it is a testament to the dedication of the staff.”
