College donation runs up PR Scotland online
Telford College in Edinburgh did their bit for charity by lending their sports ground to Standard Life, one of Scotland’s leading saving and investment providers.
The College’s Marine Drive sports ground hosted the annual 10k charity run on August 28 where more than 100 runners and their families and friends raised donations for Cancer Research UK and Alzheimers Scotland.
Miles Dibsdall, OBE Prinicpal at Edinburgh Telford College was thrilled to support the event as he is eager for the college to support their community inside and outside education.
Jill Maclean, Head of Sustainability at Standard Life was very grateful to the college for their generosity, especially as they used the grounds free of charge as they could concentrate on raising as much money as possible without having to worry about organisation costs.
The event attracted a fantastic turn out of Standard Life Staff and their friends and family.
