Edinburgh Public Relations Help to Return Lost Cat to it’s Owner

The Scotsman revealed that a cat, which went missing more than a year ago from a house in Penicuik and turned up 478 miles away in Plymouth, was returned home by free of charge by kind hearted courier company, Eagle Couriers.

The newspaper explained that Sampson, a large white and tabby cat with a bashed up face, was identified by an identity chip which showed just how far he had travelled.

They added that owner Linda Jansen has no idea how her cat made its incredible journey – particularly because Samson is a notoriously bad traveler who has to be sedated on long journeys.

Linda went on to contact Holyrood PR client Eagle Couriers to help reunite her with her beloved cat.

And pet-loving staff at the Scotland’s leading courier firm were only too happy to step in and bring Samson home free of charge.

Eagle Couriers director Fiona Deas told The Scotsman: “This is one of the most amazing pet stories I have ever heard. I don’t suppose we’ll ever find out how the animal ended up on the south coast of England, but we can make sure it gets home safely.”

The full story can be read in The Scotsman.
