The fashion show, sponsored by CityLets has raised over a quarter of a million pounds for charities over the past eleven years and has gained recognition from Vogue magazine.

This year the funds will be going to Children’s Hospice Association of Scotland (CHAS).  A group of students visited Rachel House hospice last month to see what the money raised will be going towards.

Hamish Crook, who will be modelling in the ECFS said: “Having the chance to go behind the scenes and see first-hand the incredible work that staff and team of volunteers do at CHAS was a massive privilege.

“The atmosphere within Rachel House isn’t really one that can be done justice on paper.  The positivity and togetherness displayed by the children and staff banishes any stereotypical predispositions.”

The theme for this year’s fashion show is decadence and rock ‘n’ roll in a tough economic climate, and takes inspiration from history and music such as The Sex Pistols and Marie Antoinette.

The Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show runs from March 29 to 31.
