Edinburgh PR Agency are painting the media silver and gold with PR stories and PR awards
When one of our clients’ stories hits all the right notes and gains coverage across the media, it’s always music to our ears.
As food and drink PR experts, we were on hand to tell two fantastic musical themed stories Mackie’s of Scotland.
First up, was news of its link up with Aberdeen Performing Arts. Mackie’s got involved with the True North Music Festival to create a new flavour especially for the popular event.
The Buttery is a mix of traditional vanilla ice cream with jam running through it which has proved a hit with those lucky enough to have tried it so far.
We recently told the fantastic story of Our Father’s Wine. Founder, Giles Cooke, donates all the profits from the wine back to charity and recently handed over £1,500 to the Scottish Association for Mental Health.
Following the tragic death of his parents and his own heart scare, Giles was keen to give back and decided to use his wine expertise to do so.
Instead of running a marathon or shaving his head, Giles decided to put his knowledge of wine to good use and raise funds for charity.
The amazing story gained coverage in The National newspaper as well as a full online and print feature in the Edinburgh Evening News, who used the terrific video created by our videographer Craig on their website and social media coverage.
What kind of PR experts would we be, if we didn’t think to tell you about our own success after collecting accolades for all our PR work.
Holyrood PR Agency in Edi were up for no less than ten awards at the annual CIPR Pride awards. We were delighted to collect the Gold award for Community Relations Campaign for our work with CALA Homes on their work to build communities in East Lothian.
The judges remarked that the “results from the campaign” were particularly impressive on a relatively small budget and that enabling “more charities to benefit from CALA Homes’ support demonstrated the true value of PR”.
We were also delighted to collect silver in the Outstanding Public Relations Agency category after entering the category for the first time, managing to beat a number of larger and national agencies to the award.
We were also pleased to walk away with silver in the Corporate and Business Communications Campaign with our work for the Scottish Business Resilience Centre, and Low Budget Campaign for our work with the Scottish Schools Pipe Band Trust.
It was a brilliant night, although the whole office certainly paid the price the next day for enjoying the free bar a little too much.
