Thursday, July 23rd, 2015
Sodexo Prestige, leading catering and hospitality experts, have recently hired one of their youngest ever Sales Managers. At only 22, Georgia McKay from Strathaven has been appointed the role at one of Sodexo’s 17 exclusive partner venues across Scotland, Hamilton Park Racecourse.
Upon leaving school, Georgia decided to pursue her career path with the reputed hospitality specialist rather than take up her place at University.
Georgia’s promotion comes after four years working at the race course in the role of Sales Coordinator, for which she was awarded ‘Sales Coordinator of the Year’ for the UK and Ireland in 2012.
Georgia will now have the responsibility of bring in a whole host of events on non-race days, as well as helping to maintain the prestigious reputation that comes with Hamilton Park Racecourse.
The story of her recent promotion made its way into local paper, the Hamilton Advertiser, which has a reach of over 12,500, and various key online industry titles. Aberdeen Business News, Incentive Travel and Daily Business all featured the story online, making this a great success story for Georgia and Sodexo at Hamilton Park Racecourse.
Holyrood Partnership works with Sodexo Prestige Venues and Events to share their many different stories with key industry press and national newspapers.
