A “special deliveries” campaign by Scotland’s leading courier firm has yet again made headlines in Scottish newspapers.

The East Lothian Courier featured Eagle Couriers’ recent charity drive initiative, with a story about the firm’s recent donation of footballs to a youth football club in Aberlady.

The aim of the gesture was to find grass-roots charities and community groups in need of a “special delivery” to help with their work.

After receiving applications from groups across East Lothian, Eagle Couriers eventually decided to give the donation to Aberlady Kids FC – which works with dozens of youngsters in the area.

The East Lothian Courier article is not the only piece of coverage Eagle Couriers has been celebrating. The firm has also been featured in the news website Hell Mail, which ran a story about the firm’s predictions for Valentines Day, and in the widely-read daily newspaper East Lothian News.

Eagle Couriers employs 100 people between Edinburgh and Glasgow and regularly delivers medical equipment and sensitive data across East Lothian for clients including the NHS, BT and the Scottish Government.
